Next 20 Pages of The Old Man and the Sea

The old man seems to know quite a bit seeing as he followed the man-of-war bird. The old man is so lonely that he talks to him self. I can’t really blame him for acting that way seeing as he has probably been alone for a while. The fact that he didn’t want to have the boy going along he really wanted him there when he was out there.

“He also drank a cup of shark liver oil each day from the big drum in the shack where many of the fishermen kept their gear.”

I can’t believe someone would try and drink something like that. That is down right disgusting that someone would drink shark liver oil.

My predictions is that the old fisherman will catch a humongous marlin. He will give some of the the fish to the person who was giving them the food to eat. All the fishermen in town will want to go fishing with him.

    hey well I wasn’t meaning that the plane was going to come down and save him. I was implying that the plane would have a deeper more emotional symbol. such as reminding the man what he is fighting for or going back to. W.V.C
